I work from a private portrait studio in central Amsterdam, close to Oosterdok. The same building offers several distinctive interiors, ranging from professional to more intimate in atmosphere. A single session can combine studio, interior and nearby outdoor locations when that supports the brief. I also work at client locations and in urban, industrial, rural or destination settings.
The process
We discuss the people, audiences, uses, formats, timing and visual ambition.
I translate the brief into a practical creative plan covering location, light, styling, schedule and deliverables.
I provide calm, clear direction while remaining attentive to the person and what develops during the session.
Depending on the assignment, you receive a proof gallery or an agreed curated set. Final images are carefully edited and naturally retouched.
Images are supplied in the agreed formats, with timing and usage set out clearly in the proposal.
